Securonix has joined the Wiz Integration Network (WIN) partner ecosystem, offering a joint solution that organizations can use to protect their digital assets, identify risks and address security threats across their on-premises and cloud environments, the companies announced.
What the Securonix-Wiz Integration Offers
Organizations can use Securonix's Unified Defense SIEM (security information and event management) solution with Wiz's Cloud Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP). The joint solution gives organizations a single view of risks based on a cloud analysis across misconfigurations, network exposures, vulnerabilities and malware. That way, organizations are well equipped to identify and address security incidents.
Furthermore, Unified Defense SIEM uses threat chains to correlate and connect security events across different layers of an organization's infrastructure, Securonix said. When it is used in combination with Wiz's security insights, an organization can understand where an attack is occurring in their cloud environments. This helps them assess an attack's blast radius and see how the attack is impacting their infrastructure.
Staying Ahead of Emerging Cloud Threats
Wiz's cloud security research enhances Securonix's threat content-as-a-service, the businesses stated. It enables organizations to track threats across their cloud environments.
In addition, Wiz analyzes cloud context, while Securonix assesses behavior analytics, said Oron Noah, Wiz's director of product management. Thus, the Wiz-Securonix joint solution helps organizations identify cloud security anomalies before they lead to data breaches.
Securonix Adds to Leadership Team
The Wiz integration comes after Securonix made the following executive hires in November and October 2023:
- Scott Sampson as chief revenue officer
- Mark Stevens as vice president of strategic alliances
- Al Arun as chief customer officer
Organizations can use Securonix's Unified Defense SIEM solution to detect, investigate and respond to threats, the company stated. Securonix also offers a partner program that allows MSSPs, MSPs and other technology providers to integrate Unified Defense SIEM into their portfolios.
