AuditBoard Vice President of Engineering and AI/ML Anton Dam noted that AI could possibly revolutionize compliance through increased predictive ability, with mature AI integration already enabling the early discovery of possible compliance concerns, according to SC Media.
Aside from streamlining complicated regulatory updates and bolstering cybersecurity risk management, AI could also advance task automation and facilitate proactive risk identification, noted Dam in an interview during this year's Audit & Beyond conference.
"...[B]y analyzing patterns in previous audits and assessments, our platform can suggest areas where teams might encounter issues, allowing them to address potential vulnerabilities proactively. This is just the beginning; as AI technologies evolve, we expect them to play an even bigger role in risk prediction and strategic planning," said Dam.
Dam also touted AuditBoard's focus on automating workflows across the organizations' ecosystem to ensure immediate response to emerging compliance concerns as it seeks to expand compliance process automation.
