Gravwell releases AI agents for security data platform

Gravwell Inc. has released Gravwell 5.10, an update that integrates five artificial intelligence agents directly into a customer's deployment, according to a recent report by Silicon Angle.

The new AI agents are designed to autonomously collect necessary investigation context, including live telemetry, detections, and system state, without relying on pre-assembled context or alert bodies. Three agents assist security analysts: the Case Agent supports investigations from start to finish by writing and validating queries; the Alert Triage Agent prepares opening reports for alerts; and the Daily Summary Agent reviews previous telemetry to identify actionable queries for analysts.

Two agents support administrators: the Admin Agent handles configuration questions, and the Audit Agent performs a hygiene pass on automations and data flows, identifying issues like stalled searches and dead data feeds. All five agents are available in the AI Agent Preview kit across all Gravwell editions, including the free Community Edition. This update allows teams to visualize agent actions, showing which tools were used and how conclusions were reached, providing a controlled path toward greater autonomy for security teams without granting unrestricted AI access.
