Park’N Fly Breach Impacts Nearly 1M

Almost one million customers of widely known Canadian airport parking service Park'N Fly had their information compromised following a data breach last month, The Cyber Express reports.

Attackers with unauthorized VPN access were able to infiltrate Park'N Fly's network between July 11 and July 13, enabling the theft of individuals' names, mailing and email addresses, and Canadian Automobile Association and Aeroplan numbers, said the firm in a statement. No financial details or passwords have been exfiltrated as a result of the incident, according to Park'N Fly, which noted the implementation of more stringent cybersecurity measures as it restored its platforms within five days of the intrusion.

"While we deeply regret any concern this incident may have caused, we want to reassure our valued customers and partners that we are taking all necessary steps to safeguard their information," said Park'N Fly CEO Carlo Marrello, who emphasized that company's efforts to focus on systems integrity following the incident.
