CriticalStart, a Top 200 MSSP, has integrated the Devo security information and event management (SIEM) solution into its managed detection and response (MDR) service, according to a prepared statement.
Organizations can leverage CriticalStart's MDR service in combination with Devo's SIEM solution to collect and analyze security data and insights, the companies stated. They also can use CriticalStart's MOBILESOC app to investigate, escalate, comment on, respond to and remediate security incidents on Android and iOS devices.
In addition, CriticalStart and Devo offer visibility across organizations' security environments, the companies noted. They ensure that organizations' data remains transparent and managed by a security operations center (SOC).
CriticalStart Grows MDR Business, Expands Headquarters
CriticalStart had strong momentum heading in 2020. Indeed, the company delivered 101 percent year-over-year MDR business growth in 2019. Furthermore, CriticalStart recently added nearly 100 new employees and an additional 33,000 square feet of office space at its Plano, Texas headquarters.
Along with those milestones, CriticalStart made several moves to accelerate its growth, including:
- Addition of $40 Million in Funding: Critical Start in mid-2019 raised $40 million in funding and received a minority investment from growth equity fund Sagemount.
- Launch of MDR Service for Microsoft Defender ATP: Critical Start released an MDR service for Microsoft Defender Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) that enables Defender ATP users to isolate machines, initiate endpoint scans and triage alerts from Android and iOS apps.
CriticalStart provides MDR and cybersecurity consulting services to global organizations. The MSSP leverages a channel-only model and offers a partner program that includes at least 20 advisor channel and MSP partners.
