Tenable has updated its MSSP portal to empower its partners to deliver cloud-based vulnerability management services built on the Tenable.io cyber exposure platform, according to a prepared statement.
The updated portal enables MSSPs to self-provision and self-service their own Tenable.io instances, the company said. It also empowers MSSPs to develop and launch vulnerability management services in the cloud within minutes.
In addition, Tenable has announced the following MSSP portal enhancements:
- Multi-Tenancy Console: Enables partners to self-provision and self-service customers' Tenable.io containers via a single interface
- Single Sign-On: Ensures partners only have to maintain a single set of user credentials for their Tenable.io customers
- Data Security: Verifies customer data is secured in a Tenable.io container and is fully encrypted
The Tenable.io MSSP portal upgrades are being rolled out in a phased approach, and all enhancements will be available by the end of March. They will be offered free of charge to qualified MSSP partners.

The MSSP portal updates enable Tenable to capitalize on a "massive, untapped market opportunity," COO Mark Thurmond stated. They highlight Tenable's commitment to helping MSSPs and empower them to quickly spin out their own cloud-based vulnerability management services.
Furthermore, the MSSP portal updates help Tenable's partners simplify the delivery of managed detection and response (MDR) services, said Rob Watson, VP of security services at eSentire, a Top 250 MSSP and Top 20 MDR service provider. They ensure MSSPs can log into customers' cloud containers, reducing the need to manage multiple credentials per end-user container.
Tenable helps organizations detect vulnerabilities, assess risk and prioritize remediation for assets across their IT environments, the company noted. More than 30,000 organizations use Tenable's cybersecurity solutions to understand and reduce cyber risk.
