Multiple companies have announced cyber insurance moves to assist MSPs and channel partners. Key names to know include DataStream, Coalition and SentinelOne.
First up: Cyber insurance company DataStream has launched a global partner program for provides MSPs. DataStream shares cyberattack and cyber insurance claims data with MSPs as part of its program, the company said. That way, MSPs can see which security technologies are effective against cyberattacks and help their customers plan accordingly.
In another development, cyber insurance provider Coalition and endpoint detection and response (EDR) provider SentinelOne have introduced a joint solution to protect organizations against ransomware attacks.
The Coalition-SentinelOne effort combines cyber insurance and threat monitoring. They also are providing financial incentives to encourage their respective customers to leverage cyber insurance and EDR solutions.
The partnership surfaces as SentinelOne prepares to launch a potential IPO (initial public offering).
