Partners First enables technology resellers to leverage the Fortanix Data Security Manager unified key management and data security system, according to the company. In doing so, resellers can join the program to help their customers protect their data in the cloud.

Partners First is designed to support technology resellers that want to expand their security offerings, Fortanix stated. It offers sales and technical training that allows resellers to teach their security teams about cloud data protection, encryption and secrets management.

In addition, Partners First offers project-based deal registration, Fortanix noted. It also offers margin protection to help resellers earn immediate profits as soon as they incorporate Data Security Manager into their offerings.

What Is Fortanix Data Security Manager?

Data Security Manager helps organizations secure data across clouds, databases and SaaS services, according to Fortanix. It consists of data security products and capabilities that promote data-first, multicloud security.

Key features of Data Security Manager include:

  • Key management
  • Database encryption
  • Tokenization
  • Secrets management

Data Security Manager uses encryption to help organizations protect their data and comply with data security mandates, Fortanix indicated. It supports all cloud and DevOps use cases.

Introducing Fortanix Cloud Data Control

The Partners First announcement comes after Fortanix in December 2020 launched the Cloud Data Control solution for Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure.

Cloud Data Control lets organizations apply encryption key management policies across multiple cloud providers, tenants and regions, Fortanix said. It enables keys from a cloud or on-premises hardware security module (HSM) to encrypt data from any location.

Fortanix offers data security solutions for confidential computing, encryption, key management, secrets management, tokenization and HSMs. These solutions help organizations secure data on apps running on-premises or in the cloud.
