ExtraHop, a network detection and response (NDR) security software provider, has hired Duncan Butchart as its area vice president for Northern EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa). Butchart will help ExtraHop expand its operations and foster channel and customer partnerships within the region, the company said.
Butchart has more than 20 years of business development and sales experience. He previously held leadership roles across Europe and the Middle East at Easynet, Blue Coat Systems, Actian, Symantec and Skybox Security.
Building Channel Partnerships
The Butchart announcement surfaces one month after ExtraHop hired Karl Werner as area vice president for the Central and Southern Europe region. Werner is working with the region's channel partners, resellers and system integrators to drive long-term growth for both ExtraHop and its partner ecosystem, the company indicated.
Prior to joining ExtraHop, Werner served as the director of sales at Ivanti, an IT asset and service management software solutions provider. Werner also has held leadership roles at Workday, Qlik Tech, Tricentis Technology & Consulting and CA Technologies.
The new hires support ExtraHop's efforts to bolster its EMEA presence and become a "100 percent channel-led business," the company noted. They could help ExtraHop develop new channel partnerships in EMEA and grow its channel business.
