Arctic Wolf, a security operations center-as-a-service (SOCaaS) and managed detection and response (MDR) provider, has released the Managed Security Awareness cyber resilience solution.
Managed Security Awareness provides organizations with security and awareness training delivered as a concierge service, according to Arctic Wolf. It is designed to help organizations prepare their employees for social engineering, phishing attacks and credential theft.
Organizations can use Managed Security Awareness training and phishing simulations to teach their employees about security incidents, Arctic Wolf noted. It offers insights to help employees stop social engineering attacks, recognize current threats, avoid scams and understand the importance of reporting security issues.
In addition, Managed Security Awareness includes 24x7 account monitoring and notifies an organization any time employee credentials are found on the dark web, Arctic Wolf noted. That way, an organization can use the solution to quickly respond to security incidents and minimize their impact.
Furthermore, an Arctic Wolf Concierge Security Engineer handles Managed Security Awareness program onboarding, implementation and coaching, the company said. The engineer also helps an organization review employee participation, phishing test results and the security culture across its workforce.

Arctic Wolf Partner Strategy, Funding
Arctic Wolf's Managed Security Awareness launch comes after the company in November 2020 hired former Dell and Microsoft channel executive Bob Skelley as its SVP of global channels. Also, Arctic Wolf in October 2020 raised $200 million in Series E funding led by hedge fund Viking Global Investors. The funding increased Arctic Wolf's total valuation to $1.3 billion and made the company the only MDR vendor with a valuation of more than $1 billion.
Arctic Wolf provides security operations as a concierge service. Along with Managed Security Awareness, Arctic Wolf offers MDR, Managed Risk and other security operations solutions.
