Deepwatch, an MSSP, has integrated Splunk threat detection and response capabilities into its cloud security operations (SecOps) platform, according to a prepared statement. The Deepwatch-Splunk integration provides organizations with automated learning, threat intelligence and analytics to increase their SecOps visibility.

Organizations now can leverage Deepwatch's cloud SecOps platform in conjunction with Splunk threat detection and analytics and insights, the companies said. In doing so, organizations can index and benchmark their overall SecOps maturity.

A Closer Look at Deepwatch's Cloud SecOps Platform

Deepwatch's cloud SecOps platform provides a variety of security capabilities, including:

  • Authentication.
  • Security orchestration, automation and response (SOAR).
  • Threat feeds.
  • Threat intelligence.
  • Zero-trust access.

Deepwatch's cloud SecOps platform also features technologies from Carbon Black, CrowdStrike and other cybersecurity companies. As a result, the platform provides organizations with coverage of all aspects of their security operations, Deepwatch noted.

Deepwatch Raises $23 Million in Series A Funding

The Deepwatch-Splunk integration comes after Deepwatch in April secured $23 million in Series A financing led by private equity firm ABS Capital Partners. Deepwatch is using the funding to accelerate its research and development and extend its market reach.

Deepwatch was founded in 2015 as the virtual SOC (vSOC) business unit within cybersecurity solutions provider GuidePoint Security. It provides managed security services designed to help organizations improve their SecOps maturity.
