Check Point Software Technologies has partnered with Ivanti and integrated the Ivanti Patch Management solution into its Harmony Endpoint protections solution.

In doing so, Check Point is providing Harmony Endpoint users with vulnerability and automated patch management capabilities that they can use to address cyberattacks that exploit unpatched system vulnerabilities, the company said in a prepared statement.

Commenting on the Harmony Endpoint enhancements, Ofir Israel, Check Point's vice president of Threat Prevention, said:

"This added value complements Harmony Endpoint's existing offerings of Endpoint Protection Platform (EPP), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) and other advanced security features. Our customers now have the tools they need to swiftly identify and remediate vulnerabilities before they can be exploited, all from a unified platform."

Harmony Endpoint Users Can Minimize Their Attack Surface

Together, Check Point and Ivanti enable organizations to use Harmony Endpoint to assess and remediate software vulnerabilities from the cloud to the edge, the companies indicated.

The Harmony Endpoint enhancements allow users to automatically scan their organizations' endpoints with minimal impact on their performance, Check Point said. They provide IT and security teams with visibility into the status of their organizations' devices. They also allow Harmony Endpoint users to auto-patch vulnerabilities and implement security policies.

Check Point Expands Security Services, Introduces Threat Prevention Solution

The Harmony Endpoint enhancements come after Check Point in March 2023 unveiled its Infinity Global Services, which consist of 30 security services across the following pillars:

  • Assess includes cyber and Internet of Things (IoT) risk assessments, hybrid cloud security blueprints and zero trust best practices.
  • Optimize includes Security Operations Center (SOC) as a Service, Cyber Resilience as a Service and security development and optimization.
  • Master includes cloud security bootcamps, CISO training, cyber knowledge programs and workforce development.
  • Respond includes compromise assessments, penetration testing, managed detection and response (MDR) and tabletop exercises.

Check Point in February 2023 introduced its Infinity Spark threat prevention solution for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). Infinity Spark protects SMBs' networks, emails, offices, endpoints and mobile devices against cyberattacks, Check Point said. It also provides a 99.7% malware threat catch rate.

Check Point provides security solutions and services to more than 100,000 organizations globally. It also offers a partner program for MSSPs.
