Cybereason, an eXtended detection and response (XDR) platform provider, and Google Cloud have launched the Cybereason XDR powered by Google Chronicle platform.
Organizations can use Cybereason XDR powered by Google Chronicle to protect their endpoints, networks, identities, clouds and workspaces against cyber threats, according to a prepared statement. The XDR platform helps organizations predict, understand and stop cyberattacks and provides instant threat detection and incident response.
Cybereason XDR powered by Google Chronicle can analyze over 23 trillion security events per week, the company said. It alerts users about security events and helps them understand an attack's progression across every device, user identity, application and cloud deployment
In addition, the XDR platform provides automated and guided incident response, Cybereason noted. It also allows security analysts to map incident intelligence to data to find persistent threats across their environments.
Google Cloud Invests in Cybereason
The Cybereason XDR powered by Google Chronicle news comes after Google Cloud in October 2021 invested $50 million in Cybereason. Furthermore, Cybereason and Google Cloud in October 2021 announced a partnership to drive XDR innovation.
Cybereason in July 2021 raised $275 million in Series F funding. It also unveiled The Cyber Defenders League global partner program for MSSPs, resellers and other technology providers in July 2021.
Cybereason offers a program that lets channel partners use its XDR platform's behavioral analytics and process automation capabilities, the company said. That way, channel partners can use Cybereason's XDR platform to improve their service margins and security efficacy.
Meanwhile, Cybereason has been expanding its channel partnerships. The company looks poised to explore new partnership opportunities.
