KnowBe4 has unveiled an Industry Benchmark feature for its security awareness training and simulated phishing platform, the company disclosed.
The feature lets an organization compare its security culture with industry metrics, KnowBe4 said. In doing so, the feature enables an organization to identify ways to improve and optimize its security culture.
Industry Benchmark provides security culture comparison data via KnowBe4's Security Culture Survey (SCS).
SCS provides an overview of dimensions that make up an organization's security culture and an overall security culture score, KnowBe4 said. In addition, SCS Benchmarking can be used to track how an organization's culture changes relative to its industry.
Furthermore, an organization's SCS scores can be viewed alongside its Phish-prone percentage and Security Awareness Proficiency Assessment scores in its industry or against an aggregate of all industries, KnowBe4 noted. They can help security professionals develop training to address proficiency gaps and weaknesses and explore ways to improve their end-users' knowledge and sentiment to security awareness over time.
KnowBe4 Bolsters Its Executive Leadership Team
The Industry Benchmark news comes after KnowBe4 in January 2022 announced the following executive leadership appointments:
- Tony Jennings as EVP of Global Partner and International Sales
- John Just as Chief Learning Officer
- Mark Patton as EVP of Engineering
- Mike Santos as EVP of Global Customer Success
These executives are expected to help KnowBe4 extend its market reach and grow its partner relationships, CEO Stu Sjouwerman indicated.
More than 40,000 organizations use KnowBe4's platform. Meanwhile, KnowBe4 provides a partner program and various free security tools that allow MSSPs and MSPs to integrate its platform into their offerings.
