Global consultancy Grant Thornton will leverage Infocyte managed detection and response (MDR) services to safeguard Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments for end-customers.
Infocyte HUNT is a cloud-based platform that organizations can use to detect cyber threats that frequently evade traditional cybersecurity technologies, the company said. It offers proactive threat and vulnerability detection, on-demand incident response and managed security services.

- Asset Visibility: Provides insights into active systems, servers, users and applications across IT environments.
- Threat Detection and Incident Response: Enables security teams to detect and respond to cyberattackers, fileless malware and other advanced cyber threats.
- Vulnerability Inspection: Helps security teams inspect an IT environment for vulnerabilities, exposures and advisories.
MSSPs can deliver Infocyte HUNT via the company's partner program. They also can join the program to provide Infocyte managed threat hunting and incident response services.
More MSSP, MDR Partnerships
The global MDR services market is projected to reach nearly $1.7 billion in total revenues by 2022, industry analyst MarketsandMarkets indicated. Meanwhile, some MSSPs are partnering with IT and cybersecurity services providers to capitalize on the rising demand for MDR services.
Managed IT operations company BCM One and ControlScan, a Top 100 MSSP, last month partnered to deliver MDR and other security services. BCM One and ControlScan together help organizations protect their assets and data against cyberattacks and comply with data security mandates.
Furthermore, Ironscales, a phishing detection, response and prevention platform provider, in May partnered with MSSP BDO MDR to deliver a managed phishing detection and response (MP-DR) solution. BDO MDR leverages the Ironscales platform to reduce the mean time to respond to cyberattacks.
