Trend Micro has unveiled Trend Micro One, a unified cybersecurity platform designed to help MSSPs, MSPs and other technology partners understand and mitigate cyber risks across customer environments.
The Trend Micro One launch comes as multiple cybersecurity companies build multi-tenant dashboards for MSP and MSSP partners. In Trend Micro's case, the One offering is somewhere in between a slowly rolled out new product and a rebranding of an old one, SC Media reported.
The platform's goal: Help technology partners identify, monitor and profile cyber assets in customers' environments and analyze customers' risk exposure. It also allows partners to use threat and risk intelligence to detect and remediate cyberattacks. Trend Micro asserted.
How Does Trend Micro One Work?
Trend Micro One uses over 250 million global sensors to evaluate attack surfaces, assess risk and respond to cyberattacks, the company noted. It is built on a zero trust strategy and features executive risk dashboards that Trend Micro's technology partners can use to ensure that their customers are protected against cyber threats.
Furthermore, Trend Micro One enables Trend Micro's technology partners to use eXtended detection and response (XDR) capabilities to secure their customers' cloud, endpoint, email, network and Internet of Things (IoT) environments, the company noted. It also supports Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure and other cloud platforms.
Key integrations include:
- Bit Discovery
- Google Cloud
- Microsoft
- Okta
- Palo Alto Networks
- ServiceNow
- Slack
- Qualys
- Rapid7
- Splunk
- Tenable
Trend Micro continues to explore opportunities to enhance its existing technology partnerships and develop new ones. The company in February 2022 partnered with Cowbell Cyber to increase its MSP partners' access to cyber insurance. It also released Service One managed security services bundles in September 2021 to help global organizations prevent, detect and respond to cyber threats.
