Wipro, a global IT consulting company with a Top 250 MSSP business unit, and Palo Alto Networks have announced security solutions designed to help their joint customers "simplify, orchestrate and accelerate the cloud journey," according to a prepared statement.

What's New from Wipro and Palo Alto?

The Wipro-Palo Alto Networks security solutions include:

  • Wipro Managed Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) consists of consulting and managed security services for organizations using Palo Alto Networks Prisma SD-WAN and Prisma Access to offer secure access to applications for hybrid users.
  • Wipro Multi-Cloud Security and Unified Compliance uses Wipro's IP Cloud Application Risk Governance (CARG) Platform Palo Alto Networks Prisma Cloud platform to provide insights into risk exposure, compliance adherence and threat exposure across an organization's multi-cloud deployments.
  • Security Intelligence for Next-Gen Security Operations Center (SOC) uses Wipro security capabilities and Palo Alto Networks' Cortex XSOAR platform for security monitoring and management.
  • Enterprise Network Defense uses Wipro' s IP platform Security Management Center (SMC) and Palo Alto Networks VM-Series and physical Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) solutions to help organizations protect against cyber threats and compliance with industry data security requirements.

The Wipro-Palo Alto Networks security solutions enable organizations to protect their data and ensure compliance across their hybrid workforces, the companies said. They also empower organizations to use zero trust principles as they move their operations into the cloud.

Wipro Boosts Cybersecurity Revenues

The new Wipro-Palo Alto Network security solutions come after Wipro's cybersecurity services revenue grew 34% year over year in the first quarter of fiscal 2023, CEO Thierry Delaporte said during his company's earnings call on July 20, 2022. In addition, Thierry highlighted Wipro's acquisition of Edgile in December 2021 as one of the steps his company has taken to differentiate its cybersecurity offerings from rivals.

Wipro offers cloud and infrastructure security, risk advisory and other cybersecurity services to global organizations. The company has established partnerships with Palo Alto Networks and other cybersecurity companies via the Wipro Partner Ecosystem. It also continues to explore cybersecurity partnership opportunities.
