Optiv Delivers Managed XDR Security for AWS, Google, Microsoft Azure Clouds

Optiv Security, a security solutions integrator and Top 250 MSSP, now offers its Managed eXtended Detection and Response (MXDR) security service across Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure. In doing so, organizations can use MXDR to secure applications, data and systems across new public and multi-cloud environments, Optiv asserted.

Managed XDR automates incident investigation -- blending human and machine analysis to provide threat monitoring, detection and mitigation across IT environments. Optiv launched MXDR in August 2021 and continues to explore opportunities to enhance its offering. That way, Optiv can ensure that organizations can use MXDR to strengthen their security controls, the company said.

Optiv's MXDR expansion comes after the company in April 2022 announced a Privileged Access Management-as-a-Service (PMaaS) solution powered by the CyberArk Privilege Cloud identity security platform.

Organizations can use Optiv's PMaaS solution to protect end-users' privileged accounts against cyberattacks, the company stated. Optiv also provides managed services to support the solution; these services allow organizations to access Optiv's security and operations (SecOps) team to maintain, optimize and operate their PAM deployments.

Optiv offers managed security services and risk, integration and technology solutions to more than 7,000 organizations globally. It also provides a partner program and works with over 400 security technology providers.
