SAP customers now can use the XM Cyber Exposure Management Platform and its attack-path technology to "transition their data and processes to the cloud with less risk and without compromise," according to the company
In addition, XM Cyber's platform provides SAP customers with visibility into their attack surface, both on premises and in the cloud, XM Cyber said in a prepared statement. As a result, the platform helps these customers detect and mitigate malicious activity before it can occur.
XM Cyber CEO Noem Erez commented on his company's partnership with SAP:
"Through this strategic partnership, we are harnessing the combined expertise of SAP with our proven technology to help streamline the reduction of risk and the remediation of exposures within organizations. Our goal is to provide security teams with the data and intelligence needed to quickly remediate the risks which matter most by offering an attacker's perspective with holistic attack-path modeling."
XM Cyber's Exposure Management Platform is available for purchase in the SAP Store. Also, XM Cyber showcased its platform's capabilities during the 2023 SAP Sapphire event, which took place May 16-17.
Schwarz Group, SAP Join Forces to Protect Business Systems Against Cyberattacks
Along with offering its Exposure Management Platform to SAP customers, XM Cyber's parent company, Schwarz Group, has announced a partnership with SAP to "eliminate potential attack paths across business-critical applications," the companies said.
Furthermore, XM Cyber later this year will support the protection of SAP's customer-specific cloud services and RISE with SAP landscapes, Schwarz indicated.
Rolf Schumann, CEO of Schwarz Digital, commented on SAP's use of XM Cyber's technologies:
"Europe's largest software company, SAP, is engaging the expertise of XM Cyber and planning to use this unique security solution to safeguard its infrastructure. As such, we are also protecting SAP's customers. In doing so, we will offer another example of our ability to secure the digital transformation for companies around the world."
