Arctic Wolf Hires Bob Skelley as SVP of Global Channels

Share

Arctic Wolf, a security operations center-as-a-service (SOCaaS) and managed detection and response (MDR) provider, has named Bob Skelley as its SVP of global channels. Skelley will lead Arctic Wolf's channel organization and develop the company's international distribution strategy and partner ecosystem, according to a prepared statement.

Skelley has more than 25 years of channel experience. He previously held senior channel leadership roles at Dell, Microsoft and EqualLogic, and was CEO of Computer Reseller News (CRN).

The Skelley hire comes after Arctic Wolf recently made several moves to accelerate its global expansion.

Arctic Wolf last month raised $200 million in Series E funding led by hedge fund Viking Global Investors. The funding brought Arctic Wolf's total valuation to $1.3 billion and made the company the only MDR vendor with a valuation of more than $1 billion.

In addition, Arctic Wolf doubled its annual revenue in the fiscal year ending April 30, 2020. Arctic Wolf also reported 106 percent growth in revenue and 282 percent growth in the number of new channel partners over the past year.

How Does Arctic Wolf Work with Channel Partners?

Arctic Wolf uses a three-tiered approach to engage with channel partners. The company adopted a 100 percent channel sales model and invested in its internal channel team last year and continues to explore ways to extend its channel market reach.

MSSPs, MSPs and other technology providers can join Arctic Wolf's partner program to integrate the company's SOCaaS and MDR offerings into their portfolios. The program provides channel partners with access to a dedicated Concierge Security Engineer, a managed security information and event management (SIEM) tool and various training and resources.
