Menlo Security, a specialist in cloud-based internet isolation to prevent cyberattacks, has hired John Wrobel as chief revenue officer and Todd Wilson as vice president of Global Channels.

As members of Menlo Security’s executive team, Wrobel and Wilson will help guide the Mountain View, California-based company’s market growth programs and MSSP partner ecosystem development.

Wrobel Brings Deep Experience

Wrobel brings more than 20 years of experience to Menlo Security in growing revenue, building teams and business development at both startups and mature companies, the company said. He comes to Menlo Security by way of Skytap, a Seattle, Washington-based public cloud company where he served as chief revenue officer.

Wrobel’s role at Skytap included forming partnerships with cloud providers to transform the company’s go-to-market efforts and drive growth. He was previously with NetApp, serving as vice president of Cloud Data Service, Sales & Business Development.

Wrobel led sales for cloud data services at NetApp, growing revenues from zero to $150M in just three years, making it the company's fastest growing business, Menlo Security said. He also built a 200-person global sales team.

Wilson a Channels and Alliance SaaS Vet

Reporting to Wrobel, Wilson is tasked with building and leading Menlo’s Global Channel Program. Most recently, Wilson was with AppOmni, where he led the company’s global channels and alliances efforts in the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) security market.

Previously, Wilson led go-to-market activities for NetSkope. He has nearly 20 years of security industry experience, which includes global channel management positions with AT&T and Forcepoint.

Amir Ben-Efraim, co-founder and CEO of Menlo Security, welcomed Wrobel and Wilson to the company's executive team:

“I'm very excited for John and Todd to join Menlo in these two key roles. I’m confident their leadership experience will help us continue our rapid growth, building Menlo into a global leader by fostering long lasting relationships with our customers and partners. I know they will have a huge impact bringing our products to market, enabling more companies to benefit from Menlo's unique protections against ransomware, malware and Highly Evasive Adaptive Threats (HEAT)."
