BlackBerry and Adobe have launched a joint secure forms solution that meets the security standards required by regulated industries.
This solution enables government, financial services, healthcare, legal and other organizations to modernize and optimize their operations and maintain the highest levels of security, said Neelam Sandhu, BlackBerry's SVP of sustainability and chief elite customer success officer. In doing so, it can help these organizations digitally transform their operations.
How the BlackBerry-Adobe Joint SecureForms Solution Works
BlackBerry and Adobe's joint solution combines BlackBerry UEM (unified endpoint management) and Adobe Experience Manager Forms, the companies said. It uses BlackBerry UEM to manage public key infrastructure (PKI) certificates to secure the connection to Adobe Experience Manager.
The solution allows users to complete and electronically sign documents from any location, on their employer-issued or bring-your-own mobile devices and without a virtual private network (VPN).
The BlackBerry-Adobe joint solution is now available to BlackBerry UEM and Adobe Experience Manager Forms customers.
BlackBerry Upgrades Its Cybersecurity Portfolio
The BlackBerry-Adobe joint solution launch comes after BlackBerry in October 2022 introduced its Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) offering. CTI provides intelligence on cyberattacks and threat actors and campaigns, BlackBerry noted. It also offers intelligence reports for specific industries, regions and countries.
In addition, BlackBerry in October 2022 announced improved data context for zero trust network access and other enhancements to its artificial intelligence-based cybersecurity portfolio. BlackBerry unveiled new applications, software solutions and cloud services available through its independent software vendor (ISV) ecosystem within the BlackBerry Marketplace for Enterprise Software as well.
BlackBerry's Cybersecurity Business Revenue Falls Short
For fiscal year 2023, BlackBerry estimated that its cybersecurity business unit recorded $418 million in revenue. This figure is lower than what BlackBerry initially projected, the company said.
BlackBerry provides security software and services used to protect more than 500 million endpoints globally. The company offers a partner program for MSSPs and continues to explore technology partnership opportunities.
