Celcom Acquires MSSP, IT Service Provider Bridgenet Solutions

Celcom Axiata Berhad has acquired Bridgenet Solutions Sdn Bhd, an IT solutions provider and MSSP that offers cybersecurity and networking solutions. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

This is technology M&A deal number 752 that MSSP Alert and sister site ChannelE2E have covered so far in 2021.

Celcom Acquires Bridgenet: Mobile Operator and MSSP Background

Celcom, launched in 1988, is the first mobile operator in Malaysia. The company also offers roaming services in 197 countries via more than 462 network partners worldwide.

Bridgenet, founded in 2003, is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The company has completed 2,200 projects and has served 3,000 customers, according to the Bridgenet website. Key partners include Check Point Software Technologies, Cisco Systems, CyberArk, F5 Networks, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, Trend Micro, and HP Inc., the site indicated.
