Checkmarx has added the Brinqa Attack Surface Intelligence Platform's prioritization, automation and reporting capabilities to its Checkmarx One Application Security Platform.
In doing so, Checkmarx and Brinqa provide "the industry's most complete orchestration of the cyber risk lifecycle for code," the companies announced in a prepared statement.
Brinqa-Checkmarx Integration Examined
Checkmarx One users can utilize Brinqa's Attack Surface Intelligence Platform to "correlate context, prioritize risk, streamline remediation and continuously report on application security posture," Brinqa indicated.
Meanwhile, Checkmarx and Brinqa offer a joint solution that delivers a variety of application security capabilities, including:
- Static application security testing (SAST)
- Dynamic application security testing (DAST)
- Software composition analysis (SCA)
- Infrastructure as code (IaC)
These capabilities promote automated vulnerability discovery, prioritization, remediation and reporting, the companies stated. They also provide organizations with the services and expertise that they need to plan, design, implement and deliver application security programs that address modern security challenges.
Kobi Tzruya, Checkmarx's chief R&D officer, described how the Checkmarx-Brinqa joint solution allows organizations to integrate security into their applications:
