XDR (eXtended Detection and Response) company Cybereason has released a mobile app that places the power of a security operations center (SOC) at the fingertips of cyber defense professionals, the company asserts.
With the Cybereason Managed Detection and Response (MDR) Mobile App, cyber defenders can further reduce the mean-to-time remediation by suspending an attack’s lateral movement directly from their mobile device, Cybereason explained in a prepared statement.
Understanding the Full Scope of Cyberattacks
Cybereason notes that the MDR Mobile App “empowers security analysts to quickly understand the full scope of attacks in real-time leveraging the patented MalOp (malicious operation) Detection Engine. As such, customers will see detailed intelligence for active MalOps, how they map to the MITRE ATT&CK framework and the criticality threat level.

As cybercriminals seek to compromise organizations during off-hours, Cybereason references its recent study, Organizations at Risk: Ransomware Attackers Don’t Take Holiday, which revealed that nearly half of security professionals don’t believe they have the right tools in place to effectively manage cyberattacks. Also, 24% indicated they don’t have contingencies in place to assure prompt responses to threats on weekends and holidays.
