MSSP CyFlare Partners with Stellar Cyber, Deploys SOCaaS

CyFlare, a Top 200 MSSP, has unveiled a security operations center-as-a-service (SOCaaS) offering powered by the Stellar Cyber Open-XDR cybersecurity platform, according to a prepared statement. The news comes after Stellar Cyber raised $7.1 million in an expanded Series A financing round earlier this year.

With Open-XDR, CyFlare can automate threat correlation and hunting and leverage a data lake to access security information, Stellar Cyber noted. Open-XDR retrieves data from an organization's existing security tools, curates this information and uses it to provide cyber threat alerts.

Open-XDR also offers built-in native multi-tenant support to help CyFlare manage hundreds of customer accounts, Stellar Cyber stated. The platform detects threat incidents across physical and cloud environments, endpoints and networks.

Furthermore, Open-XDR supports more than 20 applications, Stellar Cyber stated. Open-XDR can be deployed as software in the cloud, private data centers or via a turnkey appliance and does not require organizations to swap out any of their existing security solutions.
