ESET has upgraded its cloud-based Security Management Center for Microsoft Azure. The result: Partners and customers gain real-time network visibility across servers, desktops and mobile devices via a single pane of glass, ESET says.
The software can manage:
- Physical and virtual desktops and servers running on Microsoft Windows, Apple macOS and Linux;
- Google Android and Apple iOS mobile devices.
ESET Security Management Center also combines the management of multiple endpoint products -- including ESET Enterprise Inspector and ESET Dynamic Threat Defense. The net result is a single solution that spans threat prevention, detection, assessment and response, the company says.
Security Management Center includes Microsoft Server client access. Furthermore, the solution does not require additional hardware or license fees.
ESET works with various channel partner types in multiple ways. Partner program details are here.
Trustwave, CyberProof Launch Azure Security Offerings
Multiple security software providers and MSSPs have been integrating with Azure in various ways. For instance, Trustwave and CyberProof -- two Top 200 MSSPs -- recently added Azure security offerings to their portfolios.
Trustwave in November 2019 launched Azure Threat Detection and Response, which collects data from end-users, devices and applications and delivers this information to security analysts who inspect it for indicators of malicious activity. Azure Threat Detection and Response also leverages the Microsoft Security Graph API to ingest relevant security data and offers a Defender Advanced Threat Protection option that allows organizations to escalate security incidents.
Meanwhile, CyberProof in 2o19 announced a Microsoft Azure Sentinel security information and event management (SIEM) integration. CyberProof customers can use the integration to automate threat detection and incident response and recovery and access security insights.
