Today’s MSSP Alert Market News:

1. Identity Security Release: Keeper Security, a provider of zero trust cybersecurity software, has announced improvements to its Admin Console User Interface (UI) and a new onboarding experience. The latest updates improve the functionality and aesthetics of Keeper's Admin Console, providing administrators with tools to efficiently manage and safeguard their organizations, the company said.

2. Cyber Risk Product Launch: LogicGate, a provider of governance, risk and compliance (GRC) solutions through its risk cloud platform, has released its new Cyber Risk Suite and Operational Risk Suite offerings, providing enterprises with integrated solutions to deliver their enterprise risk management and cyber risk programs. Each suite includes applications, integrations, licenses and services to implement a risk management program, delivering improved visibility, streamlined collaboration and efficient resource allocation through the interoperable risk cloud platform, the company said.

3. Behavioral Biometrics Release: Darwinium, a specialist digital security and fraud prevention, has delivered new functionality for verifying the authenticity of an online user and the intent behind their digital interactions. By adding digital signatures for devices and behavioral biometrics into its solution, Darwinium enables companies to gain improved levels of insight and surety when validating online transactions and user journeys, the company said.

4. Funding Round: BlueFlag Security has secured a $11.5 million seed funding round to redefine software development lifecycle security. Led by Maverick Ventures and Ten Eleven Ventures with participation from Pier 88 Investment Partners, the investment will fund the development of BlueFlag’s SDLC security and governance platform, which delivers identity-centric protection across the development lifecycle from code to production. 

5. Industry Recognition: Trellix, an extended detection and response (XDR) specialist, announced Trellix Endpoint Security (ENS) received recognition from AV-TEST and AV-Comparatives in the 2023 security product awards programs. These recognitions demonstrate the effectiveness of Trellix ENS in protecting organizations from cyber threats without disrupting business productivity, the company said.

6. Phishing Defense: Cofense, an email security specialist, has brought to market its Vision UI Dashboard to help users understand and articulate the value Cofense Phishing Detection and Response (PDR) Platform brings to an organization, the company said. The platform is made up of threat hunting, phishing prevention and mitigation capabilities, which allows customers to gain visual insights into the threats removed by Cofense across the PDR Platform. 

7. Threat Center Enhancement: IONIX has delivered improvements to its Attack Surface Management (ASM) platform, a centralized threat center to accelerate security teams’ response to newly disclosed zero days. The new threat center identifies specific assets that are exposed or potentially exposed to the zero day exploit, alerts customers and highlights suggested remediation actions. With this information, IONIX customers are able to respond up to three times faster to zero day threats, the company said.

8. Leadership Move: Skyhigh Security, a cloud security solutions provider, has appointed Vishal Rao as CEO. Rao succeeds former Skyhigh Security CEO Gee Rittenhouse. Most recently, he was president and CEO of Snow Software, and previously served as senior vice president of field operations at Cloudera and vice president of worldwide field sales at Splunk.
