October is here. That means it's almost time for MSSP Alert Live (Oct 14-16) where we will reveal the 2024 MSSP 250 list for the first time! I hope you'll join us there. (You can register here.)

October also means it's time for pumpkin spice and other scary things, including Cybersecurity Awareness Month. That makes it an especially good time to talk to customers about how to protect themselves against all scary things digital.

Today we’ve got a host of news for you including an acquisition, some cybersecurity technology services announcements, new known exploited vulnerabilities from the U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and more.

You may have noticed a new author on your MSSP Market Update this week. I’m Jessica C. Davis the editorial director of MSSP Alert, and I'm happy to have the opportunity to compile your daily guide to what's going on in the MSSP market. I'd love your help. Please send any tips, press releases or other news to me at [email protected]. I want to know what's important to you and what kind of news we should cover. Please let me know what you want to see more of and what you want to see less of.
