MSSP SecuriCentrix has integrated the Stellar Cyber Open eXtended Detection and Response (XDR) Platform into its offerings, the company announced.

Commenting on his company's use of Open XDR, David Steele, SecuriCentrix's managing director, said:

"Stellar Cyber gives us what we need to deliver valuable cybersecurity offerings to our customers. The automation and elimination of manual tasks deliver significant value standalone, but when you couple (this) with all the security capabilities included in the platform, Stellar Cyber was our obvious choice."

What Stellar Cyber's Open XDR Offers SecuriCentrix

Open XDR provides SecuriCentrix with various security capabilities, including:

  • Network detection and response (NDR)
  • Next-generation security information and event management (NG-SIEM)
  • Security orchestration, automation and response (SOAR)
  • Threat intelligence
  • User entity and behavior analytics (UEBA)

Open XDR lets SecuriCentrix security analysts use deep learning artificial intelligence and an "open" integration architecture to automatically correlate security alerts, logs and telemetry data, Stellar Cyber noted. As such, these analysts can access insights that they can use to mitigate cyber threats across customers' IT environments faster than ever before.

Stellar Cyber Chief Revenue Officer Jim O'Hara commented on his company's partnership with SecuriCentrix:

"We are delighted that SecuriCentrix sees how our Open XDR Platform can drive their security operations forward. We look forward to enabling SecuriCentrix to meet their security goals today and into the future."
