Skyhigh Security has added new capabilities to its Security Service Edge (SSE) portfolio to help organizations view and control their data in motion, in use and at rest, according to a prepared statement.

The company announced the capabilities at the 2023 RSA Conference in San Francisco, California this week.

Commenting on the SSE portfolio updates, Skyhigh CEO Gee Rittenhouse said:

"We're proud of both our deep focus on data security and unique ability to innovate in a way that pushes the boundaries of Security Service Edge. We have the most robust classification engine on the market, unified platform that can extend policies across the web and cloud in less than 60 seconds, along with the most APIs in the industry — across more than 40,000 cloud services. We're fully committed to helping our customer reap the benefits of a modern workforce, while mitigating threats and simplifying the security of their data."

What's New from Skyhigh?

The Skyhigh SSE portfolio's new capabilities include:

  • Exact Data Match (EDM) uses content-match criteria with a single data loss prevention (DLP) classification to prevent data from being lost or stolen.
  • Unified Data Protection of Microsoft 365 offers unified data protection of documents and files containing Microsoft Purview Information Protection labels for Microsoft 365 across Skyhigh Secure Web Gateway (SWG) and Skyhigh Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB).
  • Remote Browser Isolation (RBI) for Skyhigh CASB and Skyhigh Private Access prevents unknown threats from reaching endpoints based on DLP and real-time telemetry from over 1 billion sensors.
  • Next-Generation Skyhigh Policy Builder allows networks administrators to create and maintain policies, configure rules and rule sets, create and manage custom rules and migrate SWG on-premise web policies to the SWG cloud.

Organizations can use Skyhigh's SSE portfolio to protect data across their web, cloud, email and private apps, the company indicated. The portfolio protects against cyber threats and safeguards data across all web, cloud, email and private apps and users.

Skyhigh Launches New Global Partner Program

The SSE portfolio updates come after Skyhigh in February 2023 announced the Altitude Partner Program for MSSPs, MSPs, value-added resllers (VARs), systems integrators and distributors. This program features three tiers of participation and offers training, resources and incentives.

Skyhigh is "100% committed to building positive relationships with resellers, treating sales opportunities with fairness to the partner and fostering a relationship based on mutual trust and respect," said Scott Goree, the company's vice president of Worldwide Sales.
