SentinelOne has integrated Mandiant threat intelligence and incident response capabilities into its Singularity XDR (extended detection and response) platform, according to a prepared statement.
The integration allows Singularity XDR users to automatically enrich their security alerts with threat intelligence from Mandiant, SentinelOne noted. It leverages the Mandiant Threat Advantage platform to provide these users with risk scores, indicators of compromise (IoCs), threat actor profiles and other security insights. Also, the integration lets Singularity XDR users query IoCs from threats and autonomously discover and remediate threats.
SentinelOne is now offering early access to the integration and plans to make it generally available in the fourth quarter of 2022 via its Singularity Marketplace.
Mandiant Extends SentinelOne Partnership
The SentinelOne-Mandiant integration comes after Mandiant in June 2022 unveiled a beta test program open to SentinelOne Singularity Endpoint customers. With the program, Singularity Endpoint customers could try Mandiant's Managed Defense managed detection and response (MDR) service.
Mandiant in June 2022 announced SentinelOne was one of its inaugural partners in its Cyber Alliance Program for cybersecurity technology providers. Previously, Mandiant integrated Mandiant Advantage into Singularity to deliver incident response and compromise assessment services.
SentinelOne Continues to Expand Its Singularity XDR Integrations
In addition to Mandiant, at least 10 cybersecurity companies have launched Singularity XDR integrations in 2022, including:
- Armorblox
- Anecdotes
- Perception Point
Meanwhile, SentinelOne in September 2022 launched S Ventures, a $100 million venture for security and data companies that use its Singularity XDR Marketplace. S Ventures is expected to help SentinelOne expand its open application ecosystem and provide security teams with new Singularity XDR use-cases, the company stated.
