Atos, a Top 200 MSSP for 2019, has finalized its acquisition of European digital identity infrastructure management provider IDnomic. The news comes after Atos in July announced that it had entered into exclusive negotiations to acquire IDnomic.
More than 100 IDnomic digital identity specialists are joining Atos's cybersecurity team as part of the acquisition, the companies said. In addition, the IDnomic acquisition could help Atos extend its reach in the global identity and access management (IAM) and public key infrastructure (PKI) solutions markets.
IDnomic helps organizations authenticate and securely access IT resources and exchange data from their PCs and mobile devices, according to the company. It offers a variety of data management and protection solutions, including:
IDnomic supports at least 200 customers across 25 countries. Also, IDnomic solutions are used to secure at least 30 million network and mobile devices.
