Avocado Consulting, an MSP and technology services provider, has acquired Cyberisk Australia for an undisclosed sum.
This is technology M&A deal number 849 that MSSP Alert and sister site ChannelE2E have covered so far in 2022.
Avocado, founded in 2004, is based in Sydney, Australia. The company has 96 employees listed on LinkedIn. Avocado's areas of expertise include cybersecurity, application performance monitoring and infrastructure and network automation.
Cyberisk, founded in 2016, is based in Docklands, Australia. The company has 11 employees listed on LinkedIn. Cyberisk's areas of expertise include cyber risk management, penetration testing and security architecture and design.
Avocado, Cyberisk to Create 'End-to-End Cyber Consultancy'
Cyberisk complements Avocado's cybersecurity capabilities across its threat detection, security, automation and monitoring solutions, Avocado CEO Gerardo Barranquero said. It will add critical advisory services to Avocado's cybersecurity services portfolio.
In addition, Cyberisk owner David Vohradsky will join Avocado as part of the acquisition and lead the business' cybersecurity practice. Vohradsky also will help Avocado expand its cyber architecture and governance, risk and compliance (GRC) capabilities and become an "end-to-end cyber consultancy," the company noted.
