Ivanti and RiskSense Address Patch Management
RiskSense's vulnerability management and prioritization capabilities will tuck into the Ivanti Neurons for Patch Intelligence automation platform, the buyer says.
With the acquisition, Neurons users can leverage Ivanti and RiskSense capabilities to gain a holistic view of security vulnerabilities and exposures and act quickly to remediate them, Ivanti CEO Jim Schaper stated. They also can leverage these capabilities to access vulnerability intelligence and uncover ways to reduce their attack surface and risk of data breaches.
RiskSense offers the following security products:
- Application Security and Threat Correlation: Allows an organization to scan application data to locate code exposures and prioritize remediation.
- Risk-Based Vulnerability Management: Provides insights into vulnerability exposure points across an organization's attack surface, infrastructure, applications and development frameworks.
- Vulnerability Knowledge Base: Delivers vulnerability research from security analysts and threat hunters.
RiskSense also offers a cloud-based platform that provides risk-based scoring, analytics and penetration testing, the company said. The platform helps organizations identify and remediate security weaknesses.
Ivanti Neurons Security Focus
Meanwhile, organizations can use Neurons for endpoint management, zero trust security and service management, Ivanti noted. In doing so, they can help their employees securely access and manage IT applications and data from any location, the company says.
Ivanti has 8,000 partners and 40 million devices under management, the company says.
