Danet Communications, an Accel Solutions company, has acquired Magen Ofek -- a Top 250 MSSP located in Modiin, Merkaz, Israel.

This is technology M&A deal number 528 that MSSP Alert and sister site ChannelE2E have covered so far in 2022.

Magen Ofek, founded in 2013, has six employees listed on LinkedIn. The company delivers a fully-managed, high-end data security solution to roughly 150 customers. Key partners include SentinelOne, Proofpoint and the former McAfee enterprise business (now known as Trellix).

Magen Ofek's expertise spans diagnosis, proactive consultation, and ongoing maintenance to prevent attacks and resolve issues. Key services include next-generation anti-virus, endpoint detection and response (EDR), patch and vulnerability management, email protection and cloud access security broker (CASB) capabilities.

The buyer, Danet Communications, focuses on cloud protection, application security and monitoring services.  The company, founded in 2008, is based in Tel Aviv, Israel, and has 12 employees listed on LinkedIn.

Danet's parent, Accel Solutions Group, imports and integrates telecom equipment for the telecom market in Israeli.

Magen Ofek Founder and CEO Moshe Esterin will now lead the Danet's MSP business unit, working closely with Danet CTO Jonathan Jachniuk and Danet VP of Sales Ohad Limor, the companies indicated via a LinkedIn announcement.
