Arctic Wolf Networks, a security operations center-as-a-service (SOCaaS) provider, has announced a Managed Risk solution designed to help organizations identify internal and external cyber risks.
Managed Risk scans an organization's networks and hosts for security vulnerabilities, Arctic Wolf said. In doing so, Managed Risk helps reduce an organization's IT attack surface.
What Does Managed Risk Offer?
Managed Risk offers a variety of security capabilities, including:
- Risk classification.
- Security controls.
- Vulnerability assessments.
Furthermore, Managed Risk is backed by Arctic Wolf's Concierge Security Team, which provides patch management support. Managed Risk also offers proactive risk management, managed detection and response (MDR) and other security services via Arctic Wolf's CyberSOC turnkey SOCaaS platform.
Managed Risk is now available as a standalone solution or in conjunction with Arctic Wolf's MDR service.
What Does Managed Risk Mean for Arctic Wolf?
The Managed Risk announcement comes after Arctic Wolf last month said it will provide its products and services exclusively through its U.S. and Canadian channel partners. Meanwhile, Managed Risk could help Arctic Wolf differentiate itself from rivals in a rapidly expanding SOCaaS market.
In addition to Arctic Wolf, some of the companies that provide SOCaaS offerings include:
Arctic Wolf provides CyberSOC to help channel partners become trusted security advisors. It also helps channel partners drive recurring revenue and capitalize on increasing demand for MDR services globally.
