BlackBerry has announced three cybersecurity offerings designed to help organizations guard against mobile, desktop and server attacks, authenticate end-user identities, and prevent data breaches. The company introduced the offerings at this week's BlackBerry Security Summit.
The following BlackBerry cybersecurity offerings are now available:
1. BlackBerry Cyber Suite
BlackBerry Cyber Suite is a unified endpoint security (UES) offering that enables organizations to gather telemetry from mobile, desktop and service endpoints and combine it with user behavior analytics, so they can protect themselves against malware, ransomware and other cyberattacks, the company said. It provides cyber protection for mobile and desktop devices and can be used with any unified endpoint management (UEM) solution.
2. BlackBerry Protect Mobile
BlackBerry Protect Mobile is a mobile threat defense (MTD) solution built on the BlackBerry Spark UES and UEM platform, the company noted. The solution uses AI to help organizations detect cyberattacks, alerts users before they open URLs or visit spoofing websites, identifies security vulnerabilities and potential malicious activities and ensures applications are sourced via secure repositories. In addition, BlackBerry Protect Mobile is part of the BlackBerry Cyber Suite.
3. BlackBerry Persona Desktop
BlackBerry Persona Desktop is a user entity and behavior analytics (UEBA) solution that delivers continuous authentication to validate user identities in real time, the company indicated. Like BlackBerry Protect Mobile, BlackBerry Persona Desktop is built on BlackBerry Spark, leverages AI and is part of the BlackBerry Cyber Suite.
BlackBerry: One Partner Program for All
Along with its new cybersecurity solutions, BlackBerry this week consolidated its Enterprise and Cylance Partner Programs into a new global partner program. As a result, this program provides BlackBerry's reseller and distribution partners with access to the company's entire solution portfolio.
