A former MSP (managed IT services provider) employee has pleaded guilty to hacking a former customer, according to The Register.

The guilty party, Scott Burns, at one time apparently worked for Blue Chip Data Systems -- though  the UK-based MSP has confirmed that detail and isn't commenting about the case. This much is known: Burns targeted the systems of Dart Group plc, a holding company that owns Jet2 (a discount airline), Jet2holidays and logistics business Fowler Welch Coolchain, The Register notes.

Prosecutors say Burns in 2018 illegally accessed the inbox of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays CEO Steve Heapy, and he recently pleaded guilty to multiple offenses, the report says.
