CrowdStrike has integrated its Falcon endpoint protection platform into Google Cloud's Chronicle security analytics platform, VirusTotal Enterprise crowdsourced malware collection platform and Security Command Center (SCC) risk management platform. The integrations provide security teams with visibility into threats across cloud and hybrid deployments, according to a prepared statement.
Together, Falcon and Chronicle enable security teams to analyze endpoint and workload telemetry, the companies said. Security teams can correlate petabytes of data from Chronicle with data from Falcon to investigate cyberattacks.
The Falcon and VirusTotal integration empowers security teams to search for and identify files or URLs that are relevant to a cyber investigation and uncover previously unknown threats, the companies noted. It also allows security teams to track cyber adversaries and generate detection rules that they can use to eliminate blind spots in their cloud and hybrid infrastructure.
Meanwhile, the Falcon and SCC integration ensures that a security team can aggregate alerts and events to obtain a single view of an organization's cloud environment, the companies stated. In doing so, the integration helps a security team maintain visibility and control over its cloud environment.
Introducing CrowdStrike Integrations with BeyondCorp Enterprise, Google Workspace
Along with the aforementioned integrations, CrowdStrike has integrated its Falcon Zero Trust Assessment (ZTA) into Google Cloud's BeyondCorp Enterprise Zero Trust security solution and Google Workspace collaboration and productivity applications. The integrations allow the companies' joint customers to create and enforce access policies to applications using CrowdStrike's risk signals.
Furthermore, CrowdStrike will offer integrations with Google Cloud's Security Agent Deployment. These integrations allow users to leverage Google Cloud's Operating System Configuration Management for automated and scalable sensor deployment, the companies said.
CrowdStrike Announces Zscaler Integrations
The Google Cloud integrations come after CrowdStrike in March 2021 unveiled integrations with cloud security company Zscaler. Security teams can use the CrowdStrike-Zscaler integrations to extend Zero Trust access from devices to business applications, the companies indicated.
CrowdStrike's overall security partner ecosystem is growing fast, CEO George Kurtz said during his company's earnings call on March 16, 2021. He also stated that CrowdStrike continues to explore ways to expand its systems integrator partnerships.
