CyberCatch has launched a SaaS cybersecurity platform to help small and midsize businesses (SMBs) implement security controls quickly and cost effectively.
The company is backed by Gov. Tom Ridge, the first secretary of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and a member of its advisory board.
SMBs can use CyberCatch's platform to perform continuous automated testing of their security controls, the company said. The platform generates a Cyber Breach Score that SMBs can use to measure cyber risk, find security holes and explore ways to fix them.
CyberCatch also offers a Continuous Compliance Assessment solution the encompasses the following tools:
- CyberBenchmark: Provides an automated cybersecurity risk assessment workflow engine with benchmarking, cyber hygiene score, charts and a system security plan.
- CyberVirtualCISO: Gives advice, guidance and technical assistance from cybersecurity experts.
- CyberThreatTV: Serves as a Netflix-type online security awareness training to teach users about phishing and social engineering red flags.
In addition, CyberCatch provides a Cyber Incident Simulator that SMBs can use to perform virtual tabletop exercises to test its incident response plan in 90 minutes, the company said.
