D3 Security has released D3 Chronos, a solution that allows MSSPs to provide security orchestration, automation and response (SOAR) services without adding headcount.

MSSPs can use D3 Chronos to automate security alert triage, D3 Security said. D3 Chronos also lets MSSPs normalize, deduplicate and triage incoming security events, filter out up to 98% of these events and eliminate false-positive alerts before they reach a human analyst.

How D3 Chronos Works

D3 Chronos uses D3 Security's Event Pipeline SOAR technology, the company stated. It has a multi-tenant design, allowing MSSPs to manage multiple customers from a single dashboard.

MSSPs can connect their customers’ alert sources to D3 Chronos and automate alert triage, D3 Security noted. If a security event requires a second level of investigation, D3 Chronos automatically compiles the results into a customer report.

In addition, D3 Chronos automates tracking of customers' SLAs and billable hours, D3 Security said. D3 Chronos also enables MSSPs to reduce their alert-handling times by 90% within two weeks of deployment.

D3 Security Partners with Credence Security, Raises $15M

The D3 Chronos launch comes after D3 Security in November 2021 announced a distribution agreement with Credence Security, a cybersecurity value-added distributor. Credence is promoting and delivering D3 Security's NextGen SOAR platform across its channel network in the Middle East and India, the companies said.

D3 Security also raised $10 million in funding from venture capital firm Vistara Growth and received $5 million in credit from a major financial institution in September 2021. It is using the funding to bolster its SOAR platform's capabilities, the company stated.

MSSPs can partner with D3 Security to deliver SOAR and managed detection and response (MDR) services to their customers. They also can join D3 Security's D3 Connect partner program, which provides MSSPs and other channel partners with access to over 500 integrations.
