Fishtech Group, a cybersecurity solutions provider, has appointed Kerry Kilker as its EVP and CISO. Kilker previously served as SVP and CISO at Walmart, where he managed security operations across the retailer's stores, clubs and distribution centers.
Kilker succeeds Eric Foster, a certified information systems security provider (CISSP) and certified cloud security professional (CCSP), as Fishtech's CISO. Foster was named Fishtech's CISO last year and now serves as COO for Fishtech's Cyber Defense & Response (CYDERES) division, where he is responsible for managing the group's operations, resources and go-to-market strategy.
Kilker will oversee Fishtech's compliance, governance and security initiatives, according to the company. He also will manage Fishtech's new Cyber Innovation Center in Northwest Arkansas.

Fishtech Initiative Addresses Cyber Risk in Small Enterprises
In addition to the Cyber Innovation Center launch, Fishtech in December unveiled a security-as-a-service (SECaaS) group for enterprises with 500 or fewer employees.
Fishtech's SECaaS group offers outsourced security operations center (SOC) support and custom cybersecurity solutions to small enterprises. That way, the group helps small enterprises keep pace with cyber threats without the costs associated with owning and operating an SOC.
What Is Fishtech?
Fishtech was founded by cybersecurity industry veteran Gary Fish, who previously worked with firewall management software company FireMon and information security solutions provider FishNet Security.
Fishtech today offers managed detection and response (MDR), security orchestration, automation and response (SOAR) and other managed security services. It also provides advisory, operations and technology solutions.
