Konica Minolta, All Covered Acquire Depth Security for Penetration Testing

Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A. and the IT Services division, All Covered, have acquired Depth Security, a cybersecurity consulting company that specializes in penetration testing.

Depth Security, based in Kansas City, Missouri, offers such services as:

  • network and application penetration testing;
  • adversary emulation;
  • security reviews; and
  • defensive controls testing.

Depth Security, founded in 2006, offers such cybersecurity solutions as:

  • endpoint protection, application control and endpoint detection and response;
  • vulnerability management;
  • network access control;
  • next-generation firewalls;
  • threat emulation and extraction; and
  • mobile threat protection.

The Depth Security team "specializes in providing visibility into threats facing infrastructure and operations, with network and application penetration testing and adversary emulation. This is accomplished by creatively simulating real-world attacks using the same tools and techniques as attackers to identify vulnerabilities," All Covered says.

Depth Security's key partners include Check Point Software Technologies, Forescout, SentinelOne, Tenable, VMware Carbon Black, according to the company's website.

All Covered is a well-known MSP that has acquired dozens of IT service providers over the past two decades or so. On the cybersecurity front, AllCovered also purchased VioPoint in 2018.

All Covered now has both Blue Team (Active Defense security monitoring, Vulnerability Management) and Red Team (Testing Services and advisory emulation) capabilities, along with Managed Security Awareness Training, Threat Landscape and vCISO services, the company says.
