1. Deal Maker: SafeBase, a provider of the Trust Center platform that automates the security review process and accelerates sales deals, announced that it is acquiring Stacksi, an AI-powered security questionnaire automation platform. The acquisition advances the two companies’ shared vision to eliminate the task of responding to security questionnaires in the B2B buying process.

2. Product Launch: LogicGate, a provider of governance, risk and compliance (GRC) solutions, has launched its Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Cyber Compliance Solution. This offering equips organizations with the necessary tools and expertise to navigate new regulatory changes regarding cybersecurity disclosures, the company said.

3. Cybersecurity Education Partnership: Rapid7, a cloud risk and threat detection provider, announced that the company’s proprietary threat data is powering a new research initiative investigating a better way to train cyber operators for maximum readiness. In partnership with the University of South Florida (USF), this effort is boosted by more than $1.5 million in funding from the Office of Naval Research (ONR) and the National Science Foundation (NSF).

4. Leadership Move: Xage Security has named Geoffrey Mattson as CEO. Mattson brings decades of experience as a leader in research and product development, the company said. Mattson’s predecessor, Duncan Greatwood, has assumed the role of executive chair of the Xage board. of directors.

5. Leadership Move: Cyemptive Technologies, a provider of cybersecurity solutions for business and government, has named Vince Dova as vice president of Security. Dova is the former Branch Chief for Cyber Policy and Capabilities for the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff and is a retired U.S. Navy Commander.

6. Cybersecurity Partnership: Semperis, a specialist in identity-driven cyber resilience, and Carahsoft Technology Corp., a government IT solutions provider, have announced a partnership. 7. Leadership Move: Third Wave Innovations, a cybersecurity and risk assurance solutions provider, has announced two key leadership appointments. Patrick Hayes is the company's new chief product officer and Mark Abbott is chief information security officer. Hayes is the former vice president of Cloud Platform at Arctic Wolf Networks and Abbott served as vice president of IT Security Operations and Architecture at Aimbridge Hospitality.

8. Cybersecurity Partnership: Vertek Corporation, a provider of MSSP and telecom operations services, and Site Tech Services, an IT-focused MSP, have forged an IT and cybersecurity services partnership. "Partnering with Site Tech Services empowers our auto dealership customers with the confidence they need to embrace the latest technologies that enable business, knowing their digital assets are protected," said Ron Hruby, Vertek's chief operations officer.

9. Product Launch: MicroAge has launched its MicroAge Managed Security Services, featuring cybersecurity monitoring and support. MicroAge Managed Security Services offers 24/7 expert security monitoring of a client's technology environment, helping to reduce alert fatigue and providing incident detection, response and resolution, the company said.
