ManTech International, a company that specializes in cyber operations and data collection and analytics that support national and homeland security, has acquired cybersecurity solutions provider Tapestry Technologies, according to a prepared statement. The company also will add Tapestry's 150 cybersecurity professionals to its team.

The Tapestry acquisition extends ManTech's cyber defense capabilities within the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), ManTech stated. It allows ManTech to deliver new cyber defense solutions to its customers and positions the company for continued growth.
ManTech will explore ways to leverage Tapestry's cybersecurity expertise to enhance its solutions portfolio, CEO Kevin M. Phillips stated. In doing so, ManTech is well-equipped to fulfill customers' cyber defense requests and grow its operations.
The Tapestry acquisition also expands ManTech's cyber defense solutions portfolio, the company indicated. It helps ManTech protect U.S. defense, intelligence community and federal civilian agencies against new and evolving cyberattacks.
A Closer Look at Tapestry and ManTech
Tapestry helps the DoD and U.S. Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) shape their approach to cybersecurity and has worked with these government agencies for over two decades, the company said. It delivers cyber architecture and policy development, DevSecOps-based systems and software engineering, cyber training and other cyber defense solutions.
ManTech offers cyber defense solutions designed to stop hackers, combat nation-state attacks and expose insider threats, the company said. These solutions include cybersecurity operations, cloud security and data encryption offerings.
