MDR Security Provider Pondurance Unveils Cyber Risk Assessment Service

Pondurance, a managed detection and response (MDR) services provider, has announced its Cyber Risk Assessments powered by MyCyberScorecard solution.

The service combines cyber risk experts, risk assessment processes and a technology platform, Pondurance stated. The result: Organizations can analyze and visualize their cyber exposure, and Pondurance cyber risk experts can make security and regulatory compliance recommendations.

The new service surfaces after Pondurance in June 2021 acquired Bearing Cybersecurity, an advisory and assessment services company that created MyCyberScorecard.

MyCyberScorecard is a risk management platform that provides insights into an organization's cyber risks and its compliance with industry requirements, according to Bearing. Organizations can use MyCyberScorecard to obtain a cyber health score (MyCyberScore) that highlights potential security and compliance gaps and offers recommendations to address these issues.

Pondurance delivers MDR services that help organizations hunt, investigate, validate and contain threats, the company said. It is backed by private equity firm Newlight Partners and offers a partner program for MSPs, MSSPs and other technology providers.
