1. AI-Powered Security Release: Cloudflare has brought to market Defensive AI, a personalized approach to securing organizations against risks presented by emerging technology. Cloudflare’s Defensive AI keeps defenders a step ahead of threat actors, by providing tailored mitigations that enable protection of critical applications and entire networks, the company said. With Defensive AI, Cloudflare’s AI models look at a specific customer traffic patterns, providing that organization with a tailored defense strategy unique to their environment.
2. Remote Access Security Advancement: Cyolo has launched Cyolo PRO (Privileged Remote Operations), a hybrid secure remote access solution for operational technology. Developed specifically to enable safe operations of privileged users, Cyolo PRO is a solution that advances secure remote access by shifting from managing access to managing operations, according to the company.
3. Identity Security Launch: Identiv, a specialist in digital security and identification for the Internet of Things (IoT), has launched ScrambleFactor, an addition to its high-security physical access control system (PACS) portfolio. The ScrambleFactor reader reimagines secure entry for the federal market with fingerprint biometrics and an LCD touchscreen keypad, integrating multiple authentication methods to deliver security, speed, functionality and convenience, the company said.
4. Zero Trust Security Partnership: Darktrace and Xage Security have announced a partnership to help businesses prevent cyberattacks and insider threats in critical environments. This collaboration brings together Xage Security's zero trust protection with Darktrace's AI-powered anomaly-based threat detection to identify and respond to breaches in progress at any stage in operational technology and information technology environments, the companies said.
5. Encryption Technology Release: CyberProtonics, a specialist in quantum-resistant data protection, has introduced a software-based cryptosystem that makes being quantum-ready easy, affordable and practical. Embeddable virtually anywhere, any time, the cryptosystem generates "blistering-fast" encryption speeds of 512 bits to up to 10K bits, rendering data useless when a breach occurs, the company said.
6. MITRE ATT&CK Integration: Security and threat intelligence technology company Silobreaker has announced an integration with MITRE ATT&CK Matrix for Enterprise, Industrial Control Systems and Mobile, to help organizations better understand threats associated with malware, threat actors and industries. Organizations using the Silobreaker platform can use the MITRE ATT&CK Matrix, a global database of tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs) based on real-world observations, to categorize, assess and respond to threats to their operations, the company said.
7. Industry Recognition: Resecurity received the Emerging Threat Intelligence Innovator Award at the CyberX Qatar Summit 2024 held in Doha on February 21. The recognition underscores Resecurity's commitment to advancing the cybersecurity technologies through innovative solutions that address effective protection in scope of the National Cyber Security Strategy (NCSS), National Development Strategy II, and Qatar National Vision 2030, the company said.
8. Consolidated Cyber Companies Rebrand: DynTek, rSolutions Corporation and Arctiq have consolidated under a single corporate structure and a brand, Arctiq, having merged in August and November 2023. The company's offerings and managed security services are supported by three security operations centers strategically across the United States and Canada.
9. Ransomware Alert: U.S. cybersecurity and intelligence agencies have warned of Phobos ransomware attacks targeting government and critical infrastructure entities, outlining the various tactics and techniques the threat actors have adopted to deploy the file-encrypting malware.
