1. Cyvatar, Zimperium Announce Partnership: Cyvatar, a provider of comprehensive cybersecurity solutions, has formed a strategic partnership with Zimperium, a specialist in mobile security, to introduce its Mobile Threat Defense (MTD) service. This collaboration adds Zimperium's mobile threat defense technology to Cyvatar's portfolio. Cyvatar MTD service now offers comprehensive, real-time protection against mobile security threats, ensuring organizations stay secure in today's increasingly mobile-centric world, the company said.

2. GenAI Security Release: Forcepoint, a specialist in data-first cybersecurity solutions, has unveiled its comprehensive GenAI Security solution, offering visibility, control and risk-based data protection across generative AI platforms, including integration with OpenAI’s ChatGPT Enterprise Compliance API. Forcepoint’s GenAI Security solution merges SSE technologies like Forcepoint ONE CASB and Forcepoint ONE Web Security with the information protection capabilities in Forcepoint DSPM and Forcepoint ONE Data Security, creating a robust framework that safeguards sensitive information and intellectual property, the company said.

3. Leadership Move: AppOmni, a specialist in SaaS security, announced that industry veteran Joel Wallenstrom has joined the company as general manager. In this new role, Wallenstrom will lead a united function that brings together the product, engineering and customer success disciplines. His appointment aims to elevate AppOmni as the top choice for business-critical SaaS security, based on its leading SaaS security posture management (SSPM) and threat detection capabilities, the company said.

4. Cyber Cohort Opens: MACH37, an accelerator for information security entrepreneurs and cyber startups, is accepting applications to join its Fall 2024 Cohort. The team recently wrapped its Spring 2024 Cohort, which featured five cyber companies, and is now looking for startups developing solutions for artificial Intelligence, machine learning, neural networks, quantum computing and encryption, space, cyber-physical systems, the Internet of Things, industrial controls and other cyber-related areas.

5. Deepfake Detection Partnership: ElevenLabs, a provider of audio AI tools for creators, media and businesses, and Reality Defender, a cybersecurity company specializing in deepfake detection, have announced a strategic partnership to advance the development of audio deepfake detection models. The partnership aims to provide enhanced protection against audio deepfakes by leveraging ElevenLabs' proprietary models and methods to improve the efficacy and robustness of Reality Defender's detection tools. This will enable Reality Defender's clients, including governments and international enterprises, to detect and prevent AI-generated threats in real time, safeguarding millions from misinformation and sophisticated fraud, the companies said.

6. Digital Edge Security Release: NETSCOUT SYSTEMS, a provider of performance management, cybersecurity and DDoS attack protection solutions, has introduced its new suite of Business Edge Observability products, including the nGenius Edge Sensor and Remote InfiniStreamNG solutions, to deliver IT observability for remote locations at the digital edge.

7. Offensive Security Launch: NDAY Security, an offensive cybersecurity solutions company, has released its automated offensive security platform, ATTACKN. This all-in-one platform enables organizations to deploy, monitor and manage critical offensive security measures, the company said.
