1. Gigamon Unveils New Power of 3 Offering: Gigamon, a deep observability company, has brought to market a new Power of 3 cloud integration offering with channel partners ExtraHop, a network security company, and World Wide Technology (WWT). Gigamon, in partnership with WWT and ExtraHop, will provide customers with threat detection by integrating the ExtraHop network detection and response (NDR) platform RevealX with the Gigamon Deep Observability Pipeline, sold and serviced by WWT.
2. Rezonate Solution Eliminates Blind Spots: Rezonate, an identity-centric security solutions provider, has released a new identity security solution for mid-market companies. The offering reduces the identity attack surface and improves compliance efforts in a fraction of the time of legacy IAM tools or manual methods, the company said. Rezonate’s solution integrates with identity providers such as Okta Workforce Identity Cloud, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Entra ID, as well as business-critical SaaS applications, including Salesforce, GitHub, Snowflake, Workday and others.
3. BreachBits and SecurityStudio Collaborate to Enhance Virtual CISO Credentials: BreachBits is collaborating with SecurityStudio, a cyber risk management platform that focuses on holistic information security. By joining forces with SecurityStudio, BreachBits is creating lasting relationships with certified vCISOs and is demonstrating a strategic focus on channel programs, the company said. Accordingly, BreachBits has upgraded its BreachRisk platform to include an interface where service providers can access security and compliance capabilities as revenue streams.
4. CyberRisk Alliance and SC Media Announce Finalists for the 2024 SC Awards: CyberRisk Alliance and SC Media, a sister publication of MSSP Alert, have announced the finalists for the 2024 SC Awards. 5. Rescana Collaborates with Wiz, Aspiration Japan: Rescana, an AI continuous threat exposure management company, has formed a strategic collaboration with cybersecurity company Wiz and Aspiration Japan, a security consulting firm. This partnership aims to deliver a cloud security solution tailored to meet the unique needs of businesses in Japan, the company said.
6. SlashNext Debuts Executive Protection Service: SlashNext, a specialist in AI cloud email and communications security, has launched its Executive Protection Service. This solution offers workspace protection across email, mobile/SMS and web communication apps for highly targeted employees. The AI-native protection service blocks advanced phishing, social engineering, ransomware, fraud and reputation scams in business and personal communication apps, the company said.
7. CyberArk Cloud Security is "Trusted": CyberArk, an identity security company, announced that it has earned the Trusted Cloud Provider trustmark from the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA). The trustmark helps organizations to identify providers that have invested to achieve the highest standards of cloud security in their product offerings.
8. iVerify Names Chief Product Officer: iVerify, a specialist in advanced mobile endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions, has named Spencer Parker as its chief product officer. He joins iVerify with a track record running product management, engineering and data teams at companies including CrowdStrike, Cisco and Sophos. At CrowdStrike, he was senior director of product management for their mobile product, threat intelligence and managed services during his tenure.
9. RISCPoint Unveils AI-Powered Cybersecurity Platform: RISCPoint Advisory Group, a security and compliance services provider, has launched RADAR, an all-in-one cybersecurity platform. Combining continuous threat discovery with penetration testing as a service, RADAR represents a significant leap forward in proactive security and risk management, the company said.
10. Gartner Makes Cyberattack Predictions: Worldwide end-user spending on information security is projected to total $212 billion in 2025, an increase of 15.1% from 2024, according to a new forecast from Gartner, Inc. In 2024, global information security end-user spending is estimated to reach $183.9 billion, Gartner reports.
